Privacy Policy

VITAMIN CREATIVE LAB LIMITED, the operator of Skino, explains in this policy how it collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you visit skino.ai or use a Skino account, newsletter, submission form, or saved shelf.

  • We collect the information needed to run accounts, subscriptions, submissions, saved shelves, security checks, and site analytics.
  • We use service providers to host the site, store data, authenticate users, prevent abuse, measure usage, deliver email, and, where enabled and permitted, serve advertising on eligible public pages.
  • You can unsubscribe from marketing email at any time and can request access, correction, or deletion of your personal information.

1. Scope and who is responsible

This Privacy Policy applies to the Skino website, accounts, newsletters, product submissions, saved shelves, and communications that link to it. It does not apply to third-party retailers, brands, social networks, or other websites that Skino links to.

VITAMIN CREATIVE LAB LIMITED operates Skino and is responsible for the personal information described in this policy. In this document, “Skino,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to VITAMIN CREATIVE LAB LIMITED.

Registered and contact address: FLAT/RM 1602 16/F, PROGRESS COMMERCIAL BUILDING, 9 IRVING STREET, CAUSEWAY BAY HK. Privacy questions and requests can be sent to partners@skino.ai.

2. Information we collect

The information we collect depends on how you use Skino.

  • Account information: your name, email address, email-verification status, profile image, account role, and account timestamps. If you use Google sign-in, Google provides the profile information you authorize.
  • Authentication and security information:session identifiers, session expiration, IP address, browser or device user agent, verification records, and security-check results.
  • Newsletter information: email address, language, signup location, subscription and confirmation status, delivery records, and unsubscribe status.
  • Content and activity you provide: saved products, shelf tags, product and brand names, product URLs, requested dupe targets, and the contents of messages you send us.
  • Usage and device information: pages viewed, interactions, session statistics, approximate location derived from an IP address, browser type, device type, referring page, and similar technical data.
  • Preferences: language and session cookies, the theme choice stored in your browser, consent choices, and analytics or advertising identifiers where permitted.

3. How we use information

We use personal information only for the purposes described below, or for another purpose that we explain when the information is collected.

  • Provide, maintain, personalize, and secure Skino features.
  • Create accounts, authenticate sessions, and deliver magic links and service messages.
  • Save shelves, process product submissions, and respond to support, privacy, partnership, or advertising requests.
  • Confirm newsletter subscriptions, send requested newsletter email, measure delivery, and honor unsubscribe or suppression requests.
  • Understand site usage, diagnose problems, prevent fraud and abuse, and improve Skino.
  • Allow Google to serve and measure ads in registered public-page positions only when AdSense is enabled and the applicable consent signal permits the request.
  • Comply with law, enforce our terms, resolve disputes, and protect Skino, our users, and others.

5. Cookies, local storage, and analytics

Skino uses authentication and language cookies to keep sessions working and remember a language choice. A theme choice is stored in your browser. Google Analytics currently loads when a Skino page loads and may use a first-party cookie such as _ga to distinguish browsers and sessions. Google Analytics can collect session statistics, approximate location, and browser or device information.

Where AdSense is enabled, eligible public content pages may request a Google ad only after the configured consent platform reports that the request is permitted. Google may then use cookies, local storage, device or advertising identifiers, IP-derived location, browser or device information, page context, and ad interaction data to select, deliver, prevent fraud in, and measure ads. Skino does not load AdSense on account, dashboard, checkout, admin, authentication, local-development, or preview pages.

You can use the consent controls presented on the site and can block or delete cookies in your browser, although some account features may stop working. You can also use the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

6. How we share information

We do not sell personal information in exchange for money. We do not use account, newsletter, shelf, or submission data for third-party interest-based advertising. We share information only as needed for the service, at your direction, or in the circumstances below.

  • Supabase stores application, account, subscription, shelf, and submission data.
  • Vercel hosts and delivers the website and may process request logs and technical information.
  • Google supports optional account sign-in, site analytics, consent-aware AdSense delivery, and advertising measurement on eligible public pages.
  • Resend delivers magic links, newsletter confirmations, welcome email, and other requested email.
  • Cloudflare Turnstile processes security signals, which can include an IP address and browser or device information, to prevent automated abuse.
  • Retailers, affiliate partners, or other third parties receive information when you choose to follow an external link or interact with their service.
  • Professional advisers, regulators, courts, law enforcement, or other parties may receive information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights and safety, investigate abuse, or complete a business transfer.

7. International transfers

Skino and its providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Those countries may have different data protection laws. Where required, we use contractual or other lawful safeguards for international transfers.

8. How long we keep information

We keep personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including security, dispute resolution, and legal obligations. The exact period depends on the type of information and why it is needed.

  • Account, shelf, and submission information is generally kept while the account is active and for a limited period after deletion when needed for backups, security, disputes, or law.
  • Session records are kept until they expire and for a limited period where needed for security logs.
  • Newsletter records are kept while a subscription is active. After unsubscribe, we may retain the email address and suppression status so we can honor the request.
  • Analytics information follows the retention settings configured in Google Analytics.
  • AdSense advertising data follows Google's retention settings and policies. Skino uses aggregate Google advertising reports and does not implement its own AdSense click tracking.
  • Messages and requests are kept for as long as needed to respond and maintain an appropriate business record.

9. Your choices and privacy rights

Depending on where you live and subject to legal exceptions, you may have the right to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or an objection to certain processing. You may also withdraw consent and complain to your local data protection authority.

  • Use the unsubscribe link in any newsletter email to stop marketing messages.
  • Change browser settings to block or delete cookies and local storage.
  • Use the site's consent controls, where shown, to review or change advertising consent choices.
  • Email partners@skino.ai with the subject “Privacy Request” to exercise a privacy right or close an account. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

10. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards intended to protect personal information. No internet transmission, storage system, or security measure is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Children

Skino is a general-audience service and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a child under 13. If you believe a child provided personal information, contact us so we can review and delete it as appropriate. A higher minimum age or parental-consent rule may apply in some countries.

12. Changes and contact

We may update this policy when Skino, its providers, or legal requirements change. We will revise the effective date and provide additional notice when a change is material and notice is required.
